MARVIMA / Website information
Privacy and cookies.
Privacy notice under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 · Updated: 18 October 2026
01. Data controller
The data controller is MARVIMA S.R.L., with registered office at Via Foria 57, 80137 Napoli (NA), Italy, VAT and tax identification number 10062031215, Naples Business Register, REA NA – 1077892.
For enquiries about personal data processing, email srlmarvima@gmail.com or contact our certified email address (PEC), marvimasrl@lamiapec.it.
02. Data, purposes and legal bases
Browsing. Visiting this website involves the ordinary transmission of technical information to the service hosting its pages, such as IP address, request date and time, the requested resource and technical browser information. Such information may appear in the hosting service’s logs to deliver the website, maintain its operation and security, and investigate misuse.
The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in making the website available and protecting it, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Any processing required by law is based on Article 6(1)(c).
Business enquiries. When you send an email, we process your email address, name, company name, any tax information and the business details you choose to provide. This information is used to respond, assess your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
The legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract, where applicable, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and the legitimate interest in managing relationships with business contacts and professionals under Article 6(1)(f). Any administrative or tax obligations are based on Article 6(1)(c).
Providing contact information is voluntary. Without a contact address and the necessary details, it may not be possible to respond or prepare a proposal. Please do not send identity documents, health information, payment details or other information that is not needed for your enquiry.
03. How the enquiry builder works
The form on the main page composes an email in your browser. Completing the form and preparing the preview do not send the form fields to a server or save them in cookies or browser storage.
The “Open email to send” button passes the message to the email app configured on your device. MARVIMA receives the message only if you confirm sending it through your email service. “Copy message” and “Download text” instead copy the message to your clipboard or save it as a file on your device.
Any drafts saved by your email app or downloaded files depend on your device and email service settings. Making an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or activate automated marketing communications.
04. Processing, retention and recipients
Information received by email is processed by authorised persons to manage the enquiry and any resulting business relationship. It is retained for the time needed to respond and follow up the enquiry. If a contract is entered into, it is retained to manage that relationship and for any applicable statutory retention periods. Any further retention is limited to the need to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Technical logs depend on the configuration and retention periods of the hosting service used. They may be retained for the time needed to operate and protect the service and, where required, meet legal obligations.
Within the purposes described, data may be processed by hosting, email and technical support providers and by advisers involved in managing a resulting relationship, according to their actual role. It may be disclosed to authorities when required by law. It is not made public or sold.
The contact mailbox uses Gmail, a Google service. Digital service providers may also process information outside the European Economic Area, according to their service terms and the applicable transfer mechanisms under Chapter V GDPR. Contact the controller for information about safeguards relevant to your enquiry. You can also read Google’s privacy policy.
The website does not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects for individuals.
06. Your rights and complaints
In the cases and within the limits provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Email srlmarvima@gmail.com and describe your request. Where needed to verify your identity, the controller may ask for proportionate additional information.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority. An overview of your rights is also available on the European Commission’s website.
